The film follows the various stages of working on a novel and accompanies its author over 15 months to the publisher in Cologne, to meetings with representatives and marketing meetings, as a guest in cultural editorial offices and advertising agencies and follows him on a reading tour to New York and finally to the Frankfurt Book Fair.
